Freelancers get a 'virtual ID card'.

After a long wait, freelancers are finally getting a 'virtual ID card'. About six lakh freelancers in the country will get this card. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the program by launching a virtual ID card portal on Wednesday evening.

Prime Minister's ICT Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy and Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman will be present at the inaugural function.

Earlier on Monday, a preparatory meeting was held under the chairmanship of State Minister for ICT Junaid Ahmed Palak. The meeting also decided to distribute the virtual card among the top freelancers on the same day.

Freelancers can get their own virtual card from the portal through registration.
